JOINING HAMPTON RANGERS
Want to join Hampton Rangers? Read on to find out more...
Welcome to Hampton Rangers
At Hampton Rangers, we’re proud to be a true community football club — run entirely by dedicated parent volunteers. This approach allows us to keep football affordable and accessible for all families, without charging extra for external coaching.
We are an England Football 2-Star Accredited club, reflecting our commitment to quality, safety, and player development. Every one of our coaches is at least FA Level 1 qualified and holds valid Safeguarding Children and First Aid certifications.
We’re also proud to support inclusive football. Our coaching team includes a qualified disability football coach and coaches trained to work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
As a local club focused on development and enjoyment, we maintain smaller squad sizes wherever possible — meaning your child benefits from plenty of playing time and meaningful involvement on matchdays.

Joining a Team

Hampton Rangers has grown significantly in recent years. For the 2025–2026 season, we will have 13 teams ranging from Under 7s through to Under 18s.
Despite this growth, we remain highly oversubscribed across most age groups and currently operate waiting lists for many teams. When spaces do become available, we advertise them via our social media channels and on our “Join a Team” page.
We do not run formal trials or stream players. However, for our older age groups, we do ask that players have some prior experience of playing within a team environment.
We are always looking for parents to step forward and help establish new teams — particularly within the 7–10 age group. If you’re interested in getting involved, we would love to hear from you.

Volunteering with Us

Youth football clubs like ours rely on volunteers who are willing to step forward and make a difference.
Volunteering is incredibly rewarding. Not only are you investing time in your own child’s development and creating lasting memories together, but you’re also giving something valuable back to the local community. Many of the young players you support today will remember their coaches for years to come.
If you’d like to volunteer to run a team, we will cover the cost of your DBS check and the required coaching courses. You’ll also receive ongoing advice and support to help you confidently begin your journey as a youth football coach.
Whether you’re looking for a club for your child or considering volunteering your time, Hampton Rangers offers a welcoming, supportive, and community-focused environment where young players can thrive.
