Welfare and Safeguarding
Our club welfare officers
From the 2008-09 season it became mandatory for every youth football club affiliated to The FA to have appointed a fully qualified and Enhanced Disclosure checked Club Welfare Officer (CWO). Clubs which fail to do that will lose their FA affiliation.
At Hampton Rangers our CWO is Hayleigh Cowell. She holds both the children and adults safeguarding qualification and safeguarding for committee members.
You can contact the CWO: Hayleigh Cowell at - Secretary@hamptonrangers.co.uk
As well as having Club Welfare Officers we ensure all our managers, coaches and volunteers hold a valid safeguarding certificate which is updated and renewed regularly
What does a Club/Child Welfare Officer (CWO) do?
